Still no baby-to-be for Bree on Desperate Housewives
It is definitely starting to look very soap-operaish over on Wisteria Lane with Bree (Marcia Cross) in her “slimming” black dress while the camera crew struggles to make her look as not-pregnant as possible. And let’s face it, if you are pregnant with twins, that is a very hard task to do! But Marc Cherry still has no plans to get Bree in the family way on Desperate Housewives.
Yesterday, “Housewives” creator Marc Cherry, said he will stick by his plan to ignore Cross’s pregnancy in the show’s storyline.
Last fall, Cherry said the plots had already been mapped out this year and there was no room for a pregnancy.
Desperate Housewives just isn’t the kind of show where you can always have your character sitting at a table or hiding behind big purses or potted plants. I can only imagine what they will do in upcoming episodes.
And Marcia Cross isn’t due until April, right when the cast of Desperate Housewives will be filming the final episodes of the season.
